We encourage everyone to enter a project or creation into one of the many Fair exhibits that are offered each year.
To ensure fair and equitable competition and to provide state-wide consistency, the California Department of Food & Agriculture’s Division of Fairs & Expositions creates the State Rules for California Fairs, containing all the rules and definitions you’ll need to know if you’ve never entered a competition in the Fair. The link below opens the 22 page 2013 rule book.
For entry information and guidelines, you will need to refer to (Or see below for specific category):
This has information and schedules for every exhibitor category the fair offers. It is 104 page document, which you can save to your computer or print, if you have enough ink.
Each item in the list below will link you to the necessary forms and information you’ll need to enter your exhibit or project successfully into the Shasta District Fair.
For other information packets and entry forms, go to our Forms page and you’ll find a complete list of forms for all fair related activities.
